6/(1-3/4)=24 The mistake you made is that you can use the oprations as many times as you want, that's how i was taught it anyway! ---- -1/3+4*6 = 24 in N i'm right ??? pls e-mail me to pmirceac@flash.ro -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- you can put the 1 and 4 together to make 14
then subtract 6 from 14 and multiply your answer by 3
(14-6)*3
8*3
24
or
one minus 3/4 mutliplied by 6
I cann't Understand the solution 'one minus 3/4 multiplied by 6' . Is it mean:
=1 minus (3 / 4) Multiplied by 6 ? if so , then answer will be:
=1 minus 0.74 Multiplied by 6
=1 minus 4.5 = 3.4 (NOT 24) !!
OR if I calculate it as:
= (1 minus 3 ) / ( 4 multiplied by 6 ) = minus 2 / 24
= -0.083333333333333333333333333333333 ( not 24!! )
Can you please explain it to me ? Seem I am dumb!
***********************************
Here's an explanation :) 6/(1-3/4)=24 is correct answer
6/(1-0.75) = 6/0.25 = 24
Very simple, actually :) ------------------------------------------------------------- (1^3)*4*6
((4 + 4) x 6) - 8 = 24 4*(4+8-6) = 24
or
(8+4)*(6-4) = 24
The numbers are: -3 and -16
12 x 6
They are 36 times 37 equals 1332
The associative property of math states that the order of the numbers can be in any order when adding and multiplying.
1 x 501, 3 x 167 = 501
some times
One way is: (4-1)*(6+2) = 24
2400000 times 20000 is a mathematical operation, not a rule.
Well the answer would be:7 times 10 equals 70 or as a formula with the mathematical signs given, 7 x 10 = 70.
Integer Rules
The numbers are 6 and -20
There is no multiplication of whole numbers that equals 13.
multiplier times multiplicand equals product or multiplicand times multiplier equals product
2 times 38 equals 76 4 times 19 equals 76
-35
multiplicand times multiplier equals product
1 times 62 is one possible answer.
