The foolproof way is to divide 4 into it. If the answer is a whole number, it's divisible by 4. You can also tell by looking at it. If the last two digits are a multiple of 4, like 24 or 80, the whole number is divisible by 4.
Take the number 3336. You know it's divisible by 1 because everything is. You know it's divisible by 2 because it's even. You know it's divisible by 3 because the digits add up to a multiple of 3 and you know it's divisible by 4 because the last two digits are divisible by 4. So you've found at least four factors: 1,2,3 and 4.
There is no number, no matter the number of digits, that is only divisible by 2.
It's very easy to test a number to see if it is divisible by 4 or by 9. If it passes both tests, then it is divisible by 4x9=36.To test for divisibility by 9, add the digits of the number. If the sum is divisible by 9, then the number is divisible by 9.To test for divisibility by 4, look at the last two digits. If they are a multiple of 4, then the number is divisible by 4.
Numbers for which the sum of the digits is divisible by 9. This is also true for 3. There are other divisibility/multiple tests for other numbers (e.g., numbers that are divisible by 5 end in 5 or 0; numbers whose last two digits are divisible by 4 are divisible by 4)
A number is divisible by 4 if the last two digits are divisible by 4.A number is divisible by 4 if the last two digits are divisible by 4.A number is divisible by 4 if the last two digits are divisible by 4.A number is divisible by 4 if the last two digits are divisible by 4.
Get the last two digits of the number. If that number is divisible by 4 then that number is divisible by 4. Example : 2393844 The last two digits are 44 and since 44/4 = 11 or 44 is divisible by 4 then the number 2,393,844 is divisible by 4.
Whole numbers are divisible by 4 if the number formed by the last two individual digits is evenly divisible by 4. For example, the number formed by the last two digits of the number 2628 is 28, which is evenly divisible by 4 so the number 2628 is evenly divisible by 4.

If the last two digits of a number are divisible by four, the whole number is divisible by four.
Yes.
If a number is divisible by 4, the last two digits are divisible by 4. For example, the number 314 is not divisible by 4, but 316 is divisible by 4, because 16 is divisible by 4.
If the number formed by the last three digits is divisible by 8. This requires that: if the digit in the hundreds place is even, the last two digits must form a number divisible by 8 and if the digit in the hundreds place is odd, the last two digits must form a number divisible by 4 but not by 8.
The foolproof way is to divide 4 into it. If the answer is a whole number, it's divisible by 4. You can also tell by looking at it. If the last two digits are a multiple of 4, like 24 or 80, the whole number is divisible by 4.
If the last two digits of a number are divisible by 4, the whole number is divisible by 4.
A number is divisible by 4 if and only if its last two digits are divisible by 4. For example, 53112 is divisible by 4, because the last two digits (12) are divisible by 4.
