it actually depends on your ID number. if the last number in your ID is even, you will get a shieldon. if the last number is odd, you get cranidos. you will have to evole them too
Get the Explorers Kit in Eterna city. Use it, then you'll go Underground. If your trainer ID is even, you'll find only Armor Fossils. If it's odd, you'll find only Skull fossils. Once you obtain the national pokedex, they reverse. Odd, Armor, Even, Skull.
You need to go into the underground and dig there. However it depends on the last digit of you game ID as to whether you find it (Skull Fossil) or the Armor Fossil instead. Odd No: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 (Skull) Even No: 2, 4, 6, 8, 0 (Armor)
You have to go underground with your explorer kit (found in eterna city) and find a skull fossil. Then go to Oreburg city and he will extract Cranidos from the fossil. You can then evolve your cranidos into a rampardos.
go to eterna city then go to the house next to the Pokemon center then talk to the oldest man then he will give you an underground kit then go under ground and start digging in the walls until you find one.
You can find it underground. And in case you heard, you do NOT have to have an odd ID number to dig it up. It doesn't matter what your ID number is.

Must trade Cranidos appears in Diamond/Platinum (odd ID number) - Revive Skull Fossil
You have to get an Armor Fossil from the Underground, but you can only get Shieldon if the last number of your ID is even.
You can't catch a Cranidos, but you can revive it using a Skull Fossil. In Diamond you can find Skull Fossils while mining in the Underground. In Pearl you can't find Skull fossils and in Platinum this depends on the last digit of your Trainer ID Number. If it's an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7, or 9) you can find Skull fossils. You can regenerate a Skull fossil into Cranidos at the Oreburgh Mining Museum. You can't find a Skull fossil in HeartGold/SoulSilver, but if you trade it to this game and then bring it to the Pewter Museum of Science, it can be regenerated into Cranidos. In Black/White and Black2/White2 you may obtain a Skull fossil in Twist Mountain, from a Worker in the Ice Rock room. He hands out a fossil every day, so maybe you'll get lucky. In Black2/White2 you can purchase rocks in antique shops at Join Avenue, which may contain a Skull fossil. You can bring the Skull fossil to the Nacrene Museum to regenerate it into Cranidos. In X/Y you can find a Skull fossil while smashing rocks in the Glittering Cave. Then you can bring it to Ambrette Town.In Alpha Sapphire you can find a Skull fossil if you use Rock Smash in different Mirage spots. Then you can bring it to the Devon Corporation in Rustboro City to regenerate it into Cranidos. You can't find a Skull fossil in Omega Ruby.
First, go underground using the Explorer's Kit. You get the Explorer's Kit in the Digger Man's house in Eterna City. His house is right next to the Pokemon center. Use your Explorer's Kit OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE and you'll go underground. Here's a vital part of Skull Fossils and Armor Fossils. If you don't have the National Pokedex, and if your trainer ID is an odd number, you can find Skull Fossils underground (though uncommon). If your trainer ID is even, you'll find Armor Fossils. Once you get the National Pokedex though, they reverse. Odd is Armor Fossils, and even is Skull Fossils. Skull Fossils- Cranidos Armor Fossils-Shieldon
Just as in Pearl, you've to dig up an Armor Fossil from underground, but because this is the third game, it doesn't depend on which version you get (In Diamond, you rather dig up a Skull Fossil, of a Cranidos). It's depends on your ID number now. When you get an odd number (ends with 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9), you can ONLY dig up Skull Fossils. When you have an even number (ends with 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8), you'll dig up Armor Fossils instead. If you get a fossil, you know the story. Go to the Oreburgh Museum, talk to the righter guy in the lefter-upper corner at the bar, that accepts the fossil, then go in and out, and accept the Pokémon. At least, when you have enough space in your Party.
You have to go underground with your explorer kit (found in eterna city) and find a skull fossil. Then go to Oreburg city and he will extract Cranidos from the fossil. You can then evolve your cranidos into a rampardos.
Of course. You can get them in Diamond, Pearl, Platinum. Go underground using Explorers Kit found in Eterna City (digger man gives you it his house is next to Pokemon Center) then, if your trainer's ID is even, you find ONLY armor fossils. If it's odd, you find ONLY Skull Fossils. once you get the National Pokedex, though, they are reversed. Odd, Armor fossils, Even, Skull Fossils.
You can get all the fossils underground, except for shieldon or cranidos. You find shieldon if your ID is even and Cranidos is your ID is odd.
