Divide the number 50 by successive prime numbers...

50/1= 50 (factors here are 1 and 50)

50/2=25 (factors here are 2 and 25)

50/3=not a whole number

50/4=not a whole number

50/5=10 (factors here are 5 and 10)

Can't do it anymore. Therefore 1,50,2,25,5 and 10 are the factors of 50
