OCD is not a real illness. We call it that to avoid the fact that you are addicted to something. The best way to end an addiction is to slowly lull yourself away from what you're addicted to. If you're addicted to washing your hands 5 times an hour, try washing them 4 times a lot, and a bit less the 5th time, every time, until you barely wash your hands the fifth time. Then, stop with the 5th time and only wash your hands 4 times, etc etc continue until you wash your hands only when you need to. Just like any addiction, the keys are motivation, determination and patience.
