The next step is to cross off any duplicates. All numbers have one 2, so we can discard 2 of them. Two numbers have an additional 2, so we can discard one of them. This leaves us with 2,2,2 and 5.
Multiply these together for the lowest common multiple:
2x2x2x5=40
To find other common multiples you simply times 40 by 2,3,4 and so on.
So the first three common multiples of 4,8, and 10 are 40, 80 and 120.
