Take this in two steps.

First take the higher two and find the LCM, then take that result and the lowest number to find the final answer.

To get the LCM, find the GCF and divide the product by the GCF

GCF(16,20)=4, so LCM = 16 * 20 / 4 = 80

GCF(12,80)=4, so LCM = 12 * 80 / 4 = 240 ◄

You could also try taking the highest powers of each prime factor

20 = 22*5

16 = 24

12 = 22 * 3

Highest numbers are: 24*3*5 = 16*15 = 240

The second way is easier for larger groups of numbers. ■
The lowest common multiple (LCM) is: 240
