Shaun Tait is considered to be the fastest now He's bowled 160 km/hr which is 1.3 less then the current world record by Shoaib Akhtar. Brett Lee is also quite fast.

these current days, because of their levels of fitness, fast bowlers can edge towards 145km/h consistently.
