Well, yes & no... There obviously would be no ad or promotional costs. There would also be no mass-production savings; who would know the products exist?
Additionally you would see a reduction in products/services offered worldwide, meaning less buyer options and less innovation in product development.
Something I find interesting, as someone who's done a lot of advertising, is the "no ad" products. There are two kinds--house brands and "unadvertised" brands like "No-Ad" sunscreen. House brands don't really count as "no ad" products because the store itself advertises. Unadvertised brands rely on what I'll call parasitic advertising. Coppertone spends millions every year to advertise sunscreen. When you go to the store to buy sunscreen, there's some Coppertone for, say, $8 per bottle but there's also No-Ad right next to it for $4. If you're not a brand-loyal customer, you might buy No-Ad instead of Coppertone. OTOH, if there was no such thing as sunscreen and someone decided to sell the first one with no advertising, they'd fail miserably--because no one on Madison Avenue took the time to explain to America why they needed it. Besides, good advertising isn't all that expensive anyway. If you launch a $5 million campaign for a consumer good, and the campaign sells 200 million units of the product this year, the advertising costs 2.5 cents per unit.
Check eBay its cheaper

Many Sony products can be acquired more cheaply from Sony Outlet stores. Note that not all products are guaranteed to be offered at these outlets, and many of the products offered are refurbished.
Not at all accurately. What television mirrors best is what advertising experts have determined will sell the most products.
Because consumers (you, me and most of the population) want cheaper products, don't caring where they come from.
First, advertising benefits the community by informing the community of improved and new products that may be of benefit to them. Secondly, advertising build awareness of the product use and gives the community their options to choose from, making it easier to decide which products fits their need. All in all it helps the community decide on what product is beneficial to their household and if it meets a need of their household. Angelita Robinson
