You don't get "out" of an obsession. My best guess is that one learns to deal and live with it. My best guess is that an obsession is something that is as deep as your DNA type. If you believe that taking a pill or "talking cures" are going to drive it away you are only deluding yourself. I believe that an obsession can either greatly assist and help you in life or hinder and paralyse you. I feel it depends on the view you take of it. I suppose a talking cure could assist in better defining "what" your particular obsession is, in other words what are you obsessed about. I don't believe that an obsession has to be a particularly BAD or NEGATIVE thing in our lives. Underneath an obsession is a ENERGY, a DRIVE, a NEED that one can learn to tap into to help in our efforts to get closer to our GOALS.
