Doberman Pinschers are incredibly intelligent, loyal, and protective. As with any dog however, if not properly cared for they can become sulky, irritable, and antisocial. This is not something that is particular to Dobermans.

Dobermans are not mean. They are not bred that way. Bad Training techniques or Cruel Owners make Dobermans mean.

They are often trained as attack dogs, yes. They can be quite kind to their owners, however.

My Doberman is now three and he is really friendly towards other dogs but it all dpends how you raise them. My one is really is really tame and loves other dogs.

Very intelligent! Very sensitive dogs with stubborn nature; they require consistent training. I love Miss Queenie, she is almost 12 years old and still fills my days with joy and laughter.
