its a mystery if they ever merge but if they did then kabochimaru or whatever his name would be would have the same costume as kabuto and have fused eyes of orochimaru and kabuto. the warrior, kabochimaru, or whatever, would be able to acess the ability to grant his victims power, be able to regenerate his cells as kabuto's ability, and be able to use the kuchiyose no jutsu as both of them can. kabochimaru or orochito would be probally the most powerful warrior ever and maybe even almost as strong as the fourth hokage. still naruto would find a way... Kabuto does fuse with the remains of Orochimaru, once Orochimaru trains and fails to take Sasuke Uchiha's body. The remnants of Orochimaru (arguably the 8 tailed beast/demon) do try to take over Kabuto Yakushi's body, and as such, Kabuto goes crazy and gets worse as the plot develops. Orochimaru would have taken Kabuto's body instead of the other guy in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc if Kabuto wasn't so trusted and wasn't already proven extremely useful in the base operations. Also, I don't think that Orochi's remains will be called Orochimaru, as what was inside of him was above him as it lives on despite Orochi's death. Kabuto's medical expertise would be a great asset to the snake spirit, but I seriously doubt that Kabuto or the demonic remnants would change his name to Kabumaru or whatever, as that is nonsensical.

No, It wouldn't. It just makes him a Missing Nin, hes still a Leaf Ninja. Sasuke would only be a Sound Shinobi if he went and got a headband. Orochimaru isn't actually offically a Sound Shinobi, Kabuto still is, If you look closely at Orochimaru, he has no headband, but if you look closely at Kabuto, you'll see a sound shinobi headband, but its not scratched out, meaning hes still part of the sound. If you know Oro's past, you'd know hes actually a Leaf ninja, seeming he lived there long before going to the sound, of course, he never truely joined the sound, he joined the Akatsuki, and left when Itachi wouldn't give him his body. Sasori, who was upset his partner had left him, sent Kabuto after him as a spy, secretly meeting with him when he could. After awhile, Oro broke Sasori's Jutsu, and when Sakura, Sai, Naruto, and the sensi that was filling in for Kakashi-sensi went after the spy, Oro attacked, and Kabuto was on Oro's side, not Sasori's, even though it truely wasn't Sasori, because Sakura and Lady Chiyo killed him a few episiodes before that.
