The popular fly fishing Grinner or Double Grinner knot. It is very similar in construction to the Blood Knot but it is doubly strong, being double whipped over the standing portion of the knot. He's also credited with 'inventing' the modern-day carp rod with the 'Richard Walker Mk IV (his original hand-made examples are now valued in thousands of pounds!) and he was instrumental in the developement of the carbon-fibre fishing rod.
