They are notes passed around the University of South Australia, Flinders University, but particularly the University of Adelaide, created by former student Dennis Lim. Many people owe their degrees to him!

Since Adelaide University has a policy of not updating their course in decades, they have become extremely popular. But since the law has changed particularly since the Howard/Costello Law Reforms, Brendan Lim notes are becoming popular.

Special Agent Shum (developed by The Jeremy Shum Invent Company) also issues nutshell videos which have become replacements for Dennis Lim notes. However, they are expensive and cost up to $129.12 per subject, so many just burn it :P
