Somebody is fooling you. 1 kg is a measure of weight (mass), about 2.2 pounds. 1 metre is a measure of length, about 3.3 feet. You can't equate the one with the other.

A meter is a unit of length, while kilogram is a unit of mass. They measure different quantities and therefore cannot be directly converted into each other.

Meters cannot be converted to kilograms.

One is a unit of distance, the other a unit of mass.

It is like asking how many feet are in a pound.
