I had the same problem a while back and thought it was a rear main seal. Took it to Ford fleet where for about $80 they put dye in the oil and found that it was actually coming from something on the back top of the engine. They replaced a simple seal and took care of it. Total job was less than $200. The same thing (leak) happened again a year later and turned out to be Jiffy Lube not getting the fuel filter seal in right when they changed oil and fuel filter. So make sure it is in fact engine oil and not diesel fuel (which is oil also) and don't assume the worst. My truck has well over 200,000 miles on it and doesn't leak a drop.

Water and motor oil are immiscible because they have different polarities. Water is a polar molecule, while motor oil is nonpolar. This difference in polarity prevents water from dissolving motor oil.
Motor oil is not soluble in water, as it is a nonpolar substance. Its solubility will depend on the specific type of motor oil and the solvent used. However, motor oil can be soluble in certain organic solvents.
As long as the light remains in the motor oil, nothing happens to its speed.
There are approximately 28 grams in one ounce of motor oil.
if you have the one that has two hoses coming from radiator lines that has the oil filter on it you have to take the motor mount lose and jack the motor and the bolt and nut lose on the housing spout and then you can change it standing up.
Pull over and kill the motor immediately when you lose oil pressure, failure to do so will destroy the engine.

Most cars have some blow by or compression in the oil pan from wear in the motor. This being the case there may a small amount of oil blown out of the dipstick tube.

Yes, or you can mix them. Just bear in mind that if you mix them, you must maintain as if it were straight conventional oil and that by mixing, you lose pretty much all of the benefits that synthetic oil has.
The Correct Motor Oil for this vehicle is a 10W40 Synthetic Motor Oil
Motor oil is more dense than gasoline. This is because motor oil is a heavier and thicker liquid compared to gasoline.
It would probably clean out the gunk from the motor. It could cause the oil to lose its viscosity and cause a bearing to fail.
