∙ 14y agoCall the unknown amount of substance R to be added a. The mixture initially contains 1 gallon of S combined with 2 gallons of R. After the addition, the mixture will contain the oiginal 1 gallon of S and (2 + a) gallons of R. In order for the content of S to be 25 % after the mixing, 1 gallon must equal 0.25(1 + 2 + a)gallons, or (1 - 0.75)gallons = (0.25)a, or a = 0.25/0.25 = 1 gallon.

∙ 14y agoTo have a 25% composition of S in the final mixture, you need to add 1 gallon of S. Since you currently have 3 gallons in total and 1 gallon is S, this leaves 2 gallons of R. To maintain the ratio of 1 part S to 2 parts R, you will need to add 2 gallons of R.
Depends of course of what substances the mixture contains. Depending of the substances in a solution or mixture as you typed, the properties of each one or all of them may be altered when heated up, or when those substances do not combine chemically each other.
When a solution containing iron(III) is added to the mixture, the red complex formed with thiocyanate will likely become lighter in color or change to a different color due to the formation of a new complex involving iron(III). This change is a result of a chemical reaction between iron(III) and the components of the existing complex.
Color change in the reaction mixture. Formation of a gas, indicated by bubbles or fizzing. Change in temperature of the reaction mixture. Formation of a precipitate, where a solid appears in the mixture. Production of a new odor or change in smell of the reaction mixture.
A log is a mixture regardless of whether it is burning.
When you create a mixture and a change occurs, it is called a physical change. This means the substance's state or appearance has altered, but its chemical composition remains the same.
Macaroni is a mixture not a change.

Forming a mixture

The amount of each substance in a mixture can change if more of a substance is added or removed, causing the proportions of the substances in the mixture to change. However, the total amount of each substance in the mixture will remain constant.
change.
when you separate a substance from a mixture, it's a physical change... Technically, you can get it back in the mixture.
you change the percent to a decimal and then multiply it by 360
The percent of change is -75%
The percent of change -25%
what percent of change : from 280 to 126
