โ 14y agoIF I remember correctly, density is mass divided by volume. So..
D=M/V
D=256/32
D=8 g/cm
I think g/cm is the unit. I could be wrong.

โ 14y agoThe density of the metal can be calculated by dividing the mass of the bar (256 g) by its volume (32 cm3). This means the density of the metal is 8 g/cm3.
To find the volume of 256 g, you would need to know the density of the substance. Volume = mass/density. Without knowing the density, it's not possible to determine the volume of 256 g.
The density of the marble block is given by the mass divided by the volume. In this case, the density is 920 g / 256 cm3, which equals 3.59 g/cm3.
First convert to standard SI units. 60 g = 0.06 kg 234 cm^3 = 0.000234 m^3 density = mass / volume = 0.06 / 0.000234 = 256 kg/m^3
256 oz. One pound equals to 16 ounces and one ounce equals 0.06 of a pound. Also this relates only to solid (weight) ounces. There are two different kinds of ounces, ounces of weight/mass and ounces of volume (fluid). This can change when you are using the ounces to measure a non-liquid such as flour or sugar since the weight of dry items is not the same as their volume. An ounce of volume is called a "fluid ounce."
The difference between mendelevium-256 and mendelevium-258 lies in their atomic mass, with mendelevium-256 having 256 nucleons (protons and neutrons) and mendelevium-258 having 258 nucleons. This means that mendelevium-258 has two more neutrons in its nucleus compared to mendelevium-256.
To find the volume of 256 g, you would need to know the density of the substance. Volume = mass/density. Without knowing the density, it's not possible to determine the volume of 256 g.
The density of the iron piece is calculated by dividing the mass by the volume. In this case, the density would be 2kg / 256 cm^3 = 0.0078 kg/cm^3.
The density of the marble block is given by the mass divided by the volume. In this case, the density is 920 g / 256 cm3, which equals 3.59 g/cm3.
If the volume stay the same, i.e 256 cubic centimeters then the density will be 2.34g/cubic centremeter. However if the the volume changes because it is the same material then the density will be 1.17g/cubic centimeter as calculated by density= mass/volume
First convert to standard SI units. 60 g = 0.06 kg 234 cm^3 = 0.000234 m^3 density = mass / volume = 0.06 / 0.000234 = 256 kg/m^3
