∙ 14y agoMass is a measurement of how much matter exists in the body you're measuring.
The amount of matter in you doesn't change on the moon, so you would still have a mass of 16.3 kg.
What does change on the moon is your weight, which is a unit of force, not mass.

∙ 6y agoThe mass of an object doesn't change its the weight that changes as for example a pencil if the weight of that pencil was 2.4 lbs on earth it would be weightless on the moon but the mass is like the area of something and the area doesn't change unless u break it off

∙ 14y ago0.15 kg. Mass doesn't change, (unless the object is moving at a significant fraction of the speed of light).
But weight does change, depending on what else is around.
Your rock with 0.15 kg of mass weighs 1.47 newtons (5.3 ounces) on the surface
of the earth, and 0.24 newton (0.57 ounce) on the surface of the moon.
To convert the weight of the rock on the moon (0.29 pounds) to its mass in kilograms, divide by the acceleration due to gravity on the moon (1.62 m/s^2). This gives a mass of approximately 0.11 kg.

∙ 14y ago0.8 kg.
While the weight (which is measured in pounds) changes on the moon due to the decreased gravitational force, the mass does not change.

∙ 12y agoMass doesn't change. 0.15 kg is 0.15 kg, on the moon, on Earth,
or anywhere in between.
A kilogram mass weighs approximately 2.2 pounds on Earth.
On earth, 23 kg of mass weighs 50.706 pounds. (rounded)In other places, its weight is different.
Something that weighs 1.1 pounds on Earth has 0.499 kilograms of mass. But if it weighs 1.1 pounds somewhere else, then it has a different mass.
If a baby weighs 6 pounds on Earth, then her mass is 2.722 kilograms.
20 kilograms is equivalent to approximately 44.09 pounds.
A kilogram mass weighs approximately 2.2 pounds on Earth.

On earth, a kilogram of mass weighs around 2.2 pounds. Mass does not change unlike weight, which is reliant on the force of gravity.
On earth, 23.043 kilograms of mass weighs 50.8 pounds.
On earth, 73 kilograms of mass weighs 160.94 pounds. (rounded)
A mass of 60 kg weighs 132.28 pounds on earth.
On earth, a mass of 3 kg weighs 6.61 pounds. (rounded)
On earth, 8,800 kilograms of mass weighs 19,400.7 pounds (rounded)
If the child's mass is 22.4 kilograms, then [s]he weighs 49.4 pounds on Earth.
That depends on where you are. Something that weighs 400 pounds on Earth has 181.4 kilograms of mass. Something that weighs 400 pounds on the Moon has 1,096.3 kilograms of mass. Something that weighs 400 pounds on Jupiter has 68.7 kilograms of mass.
