yes and no at the same time. grams are units of mass while milliliters are units of volume. But since they are finely tuned to pure water, it turns out that 1.00 grams of water = 1.00 mL of water = 1.00 cubic centimeters of water. the density of pure water is 1.00 g/1mL Water is special, no other substances will fit this nice 1:1:1 ratio.

No. Milliliters is a measure of volume. Miligrams is a measure of mass(or weight, mass is not the same as weight but most people use them interchangably). 2 liters of soda does not weight the same as 2 liters of air, but 2kg of soda weights the same as 2kg of air.

No! Milligram is a weight or mass. Milliliter is a volume. 1 milliliter of pure water weighs 1 gram or 1000 milligrams. Scroll down to related links and look at "Volume and capacity conversion".

No, milligrams (mg) measure mass or weight, while milliliters (mL) measure volume. They are not the same and cannot be directly converted without knowing the density of the substance being measured.

No. In the metric system, a milligram (mg) is a unit of WEIGHT, while a milliliter (ml) is a unit of VOLUME. The milliliter is equal, however, to a cubic centimeter (cc).

The only simulatities are that they are both Metric System measurements and are one thousanth of something. A millimeter is a thousanth of a meter and a milligram is a thousanth of a gram.

This depends on the density of the solution. In the case of water, 1 mL is equal to 1 gram because of its density. Different solutions or substances will have different weights per volume.
