∙ 15y agoYes, you can use lower amperage outlets - the problem would come if you were trying to run a 20 amp appliance on a 15 amp circuit or plug a 20 amp appliance into a 15 amp outlet. It would be better, though, as some kitchen appliances could exceed 15 amps (toaster ovens, some coffee makers, electric griddles, etc.) could try to draw more than the 15 amps your outlets are designed for. Perhaps you could get some 20 amp outlets and use those 15's in a hallway or something less likely to have high amperage draw.

∙ 15y agoYes, you can use a 15 amp outlet on a 20 amp circuit. The outlets are designed to be compatible with different amperages. Just ensure that the wiring is correctly sized for a 20 amp circuit to avoid any safety issues.
A circuit breaker is an electrical device that automatically interrupts the flow of electricity in a circuit when it detects a fault or overload, to protect the circuit from damage. There are several types of circuit breakers, including thermal, magnetic, and gas-insulated circuit breakers, which operate based on different principles to ensure the safe operation of electrical systems.
If a small kitchen appliance is tripping the circuit breaker for the bedrooms and not for the outlet it is plugged into, it could be due to the difference in electrical load. The bedrooms circuit may already have a higher load from other devices plugged in, whereas the individual outlet might have a separate circuit with a lower load. The small kitchen appliance could be exceeding the capacity of the bedrooms circuit, causing it to trip. It is recommended to redistribute the load or use a different outlet on a different circuit.

No, tying into a kitchen run to power a 240V receptacle is not recommended. It's best to install a dedicated circuit for the receptacle and ensure that the wiring and circuit breaker are appropriately sized to handle the load. This will help prevent overloading the circuit and ensure safety.
No, a circuit breaker is not a resistor. A circuit breaker is a safety device that automatically interrupts electrical flow in a circuit to protect against damage or fire caused by overloads or short circuits. Resistors, on the other hand, are components that introduce resistance to control the flow of current in a circuit.
A 15 amp dedicated circuit breaker should be used for the dishwasher. The disposal can be wired to the general kitchen 15 amp circuit.

is there an error if the upstream circuit breaker is 16A TP and the downstream circuit breaker is 16A TPN?

Don't use aluminum wire inside the house.
A non-auto circuit breaker is a circuit breaker with the trip element removed. Basically, it is a modified circuit breaker that is now a disconnect switch (glorified disconnect switch).
There isn't, the contacts in a circuit breaker are plated with silver.
A circuit breaker does not have a wire fuse in it.
