I depends on the dry ingredient that you are measuring. For example 8 ounces of baking powder is going to produce a different number of tablespoons than 8 ounces of granulated sugar. Try using an online measurement converter that takes the ingredient into account.

I've never really seen a conversion as one measurement deals with liquid (volume) and the other with dry (weight). However, if you are trying to calculate the use of something like Tablespoons of say a small box of baking soda you'ld have to put the baking soda in measureing cup to see it's volume. Then you could calculate how many tablespoons of baking soda there is.

You really can not calculate from one to the other without this process as dry weights can have varying volumes due to the density of the materials in question.

It is not possible to do, since a tablespoon is a measure of volume and an ounce a measure of weight. E.g an ounce of marshmallows will require more tablespoons than an ounce of lead weight will require. (The deciding factor is how dense the substance is).

That depends on what the substance is. 1 tblsp sugar is approx 2 oz, 1 tblsp flour is approx 1 oz, 1 tblsp salt is approx 1.5 oz

Depends how many dry ounces and WHAT the material is. Salt and flour are both "dry" but much different weight/volume.

tblsp. A tablespoon is equivalent to 0.5 liquid ounces so there are 2 tablespoons in 1 ounce. There are two different ounces, ounces of weight/mass and ounces of volume (fluid). This can change when you are using the tablespoon to measure a non-liquid such as flour or sugar since the weight of dry items is not the same as their volume. An ounce of volume is called a "fluid ounce." A tablespoon measures volume not weight. In order to convert tablespoons or teaspoons to ounces or back, You need to know what is being measured.
