"Gallon per minute" is a measure of 'flow rate', such as the rate at which the hose at the filling station
delivers gas to the filler-intake on the back of your car.
"Part per million" is a measure of how much of one substance is mixed into another substance, such as
how much arsenic is in your tap water.
The two units have different dimensions, and are used to measure completely different quantities. Neither one
can be converted into the other one. That would be like trying to convert your age into gallons.
A gallon is a measure of volume whereas a pound is a measure of mass. The two measure different things and there is no universal conversion factor from one to the other. For example, the mass of one gallon of water will be quite different from that of one gallon of air.
Consequntly, there is no conversion from gallons per minute to pounds per hour.
The first step is to convert fluid ounces into gallons then multiply that by 60 to get gallons per hour:4 x 0.0078 (gallons per fl. oz.) = 0.0312 gallons per minuteNext:0.0312 x 60 = 1.9 gallons per hour
425 centimeters per hour equals 2.8 (2.78871391) inches per minute.
Millimeters per minute x 0.06 = meters per hour
To convert 45 miles per hour to feet per minute, first convert miles to feet by multiplying by 5,280 (since 1 mile = 5,280 feet). Next, divide by 60 to convert hours to minutes. 45 miles/hour * 5,280 feet/mile / 60 minutes/hour = 3,960 feet/minute.
To convert dollars per hour to cents per minute, you would first convert dollars to cents by multiplying by 100. Then, since there are 60 minutes in an hour, you would divide the result by 60 to get the cents per minute rate.
gallons per hour x 2.133 = ounces per minute
Multiply your gpm by 60.
There are 60 minutes per hour. So there are 60 times as many inches per hour as there are inches per minute.
Use this formula: gallons per minute x 0.227 = cubic meters per hour
The first step is to convert fluid ounces into gallons then multiply that by 60 to get gallons per hour:4 x 0.0078 (gallons per fl. oz.) = 0.0312 gallons per minuteNext:0.0312 x 60 = 1.9 gallons per hour
Formula: quarts per minute x 15 = gallons per hour
7 quarts per minute 7 x 60 = 420 quarts per hour which is (420)/(4) = 105 gallons/hour
For US gallons, use this equation: gallons per minute x 8.020833333 = cubic feet per hour750 gallons/minute x 8.020833333 = about 6,015.625 cubic feet per hour
Formula: mph x 1,056 = inches per minute
Formula: cubic feet per hour x 7.481 = US gallons per hour (use 6.229 if you want to convert cubic feet to Imperial gallons)
Multiply quarters per minute by 15 to obtain gallons per hour. There are four quarts in a gallon, and 60 minutes in an hour. Multiplying by 60 and dividing by four is the same as multiplying by their ratio: 15.
Use this formula to convert inches per minute to feet per hour:inches per second x 300 = feet per hour. So: 6 inches per minute x 300 = 1,800 feet per hour
