It depends on how thick each square foot is!
Actually, a square foot isn't "thick" at all, so you could theoretically stack up an infinite number of them and still not reach the one foot high you would need to make a cubic foot.
(cubic feet) = (square feet) × (height in feet)

∙ 16y agoTo convert square feet to cubic feet, you must know the height or depth of the space you are measuring. Multiply the square footage by the height in feet to calculate the cubic footage. This is because square feet measure area (length x width) while cubic feet measure volume (length x width x height).

length × width The formula for Cubic feet is:
length × width × height Since we know the Square feet of the garden, we now have the conversion to Cubic feet:
(cubic feet) = (square feet) × (height in feet)

∙ 15y agoCubic means a three-dimensional volume. Square means a two-dimensional flat area. One cannot be converted to the other.
Wiki User
∙ 13y agoYou can't. Square feet is a measure of area and cubic feet is a measure of volume.

To convert cubic feet to cubic yards, you need to divide the number of cubic feet by 27 since there are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard. So, to convert cubic feet to cubic yards, divide the number of cubic feet by 27.
To convert cubic yards to cubic feet, you multiply the number of cubic yards by 27. This is because 1 cubic yard is equal to 27 cubic feet.
To convert cubic feet to cubic meters, you multiply the volume in cubic feet by 0.02832. Therefore, 45 cubic feet is equal to 1.27 cubic meters.
To convert cubic feet to cubic yards, divide the number of cubic feet by 27. Since there are 27 cubic feet in 1 cubic yard, this conversion allows you to determine the equivalent volume in cubic yards.
To convert square feet to cubic feet, you need a third dimension. You can only convert square feet to cubic feet if you know the height or depth of the space. If you provide the height or depth in feet, we can help you convert 200 square feet into cubic feet.
Length times width in feet will give the square footage.
You can convert cubic feet to cubic meters, or feet to meters. But you can't convert cubic feet to meters.
