Cubic feet is a measure of volume so you multiply the length x width x height if you have them. Many 3 dimensional objects don't work that way. For example, you can measure the air in a big balloon in cubic feet, but there formula does not work. So there is on one formula to find volume in cubic feet. Perhaps you are interested in converting cubic inches to cubic feet? For this you need to know that 1 cubic inches = 0.000578703704 cubic feet.

To convert volume into cubic feet, you need to know the measurements in length, width, and height in feet. Then, multiply these three measurements together to calculate the volume in cubic feet. The formula is Volume = Length x Width x Height.

Volume is often expressed in cubic feet. If you are working with different volume units and need to convert to cubic feet, you will need to know the conversion factor. Example, to convert US Gallons to Cubic Feet, multiply gallons by 0.134.

It's a little unclear what your question is, but here goes.

"Volume is the quantity of three-dimensional space enclosed by some closed boundary." You can read about volume here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/volume‎

A foot is a unit of length (just as a meter or astronomical unit is) and represents the length of a line. Volume is a property of three dimentional objects and measures how much space they take up.

Imagine a line 1 ft (1 foot) in length. Now draw 3 more sides of the same length to make a square; this square will cover an area of 1 ft2 (1 square foot). Now imagine drawing another such square 1ft above the paper. You can imagine the cube that is formed, almost as if you lift the original square 1 ft in the air and trace it's path. This cube will have a volume of 1 ft3.

A cubic foot is a square, 1ft by 1ft by 1ft. It is equal to 1728 cubic inches or 12x12x12. If you had one square foot with something one foot high occupying the one square foot area, you would have 1 cubic foot. cubic feet measures volume, square feet area, and just plain feet or linear feet distance.

length multiply width multiply height.ie l * w* h = cubic eg: 2 feet * 3 feet * 5 feet

= 30 cubic feet.so simple.

How many cubic inches are in a cubic foot?

Picture in your mind a cube that measures one foot -- that is, one linear foot -- on each edge. That represents a volume equal to one cubic foot. Since one linear foot equals 12 (linear) inches, the cube measures 12 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 12 inches high. To compute the volume in cubic inches, multiply the length, width, and height. So, 12" x 12" x 12" equals 1,728 inches cubed or 1,728 cubic inches. There are 12 x 12 x 12 = 1728 cubic inches in one cubic foot.

How many square feet are in a cubic foot?

Since a cubic foot is a measurement of volume (three-dimensional space) and a square foot is a measurement of area (two-dimensional space), there is no direct conversion between the two. A cubic foot is equivalent to 1,728 cubic inches or 0.037037 cubic yards.

How deep will a cubic foot weighing 10 pounds sink?

The sinking depth of a cubic foot weighing 10 pounds will depend on the density of the material it is floating in. If the density of the material is less than the density of the cubic foot, it will float. However, if the density of the material is greater, it will sink until the weight of the displaced material equals the weight of the cubic foot.

What is the formula converting converting cubic inches to cubic feet for round type tree?

To convert cubic inches to cubic feet for a round tree, you would first calculate the volume of the tree in cubic inches using the formula for the volume of a cylinder (π * (radius)^2 * height). Then, divide the cubic inches by 1,728 (the number of cubic inches in a cubic foot) to get the volume in cubic feet.
