If you are talking about a 4-wire branch circuit you'll need to start with a 220 VAC breaker. It will have two terminals. Connect black and red wires to the two terminals. Doesn't matter in which order you make this connection. The white wire goes to the neutral bus bar where all other white wires are connected. The green or bare wire goes to ground bus where other bare wires are connected.
A 220 VAC breaker can be single pole or double pole depending on the application. For standard 220 VAC circuits like most household appliances, a double pole breaker is typically used. However, in certain situations where only one hot wire is needed, a single pole breaker can be used for 220 VAC circuits.
In an emergency it will heat half your oven or half your water heater because you only have half the supply voltage. The wattage must still meet the demand for the half power, Some special connections may be necessary to use 110 temporarly on the 220 circuits.
220 VAC stands for 220 Volts Alternating Current. It represents the voltage and type of electrical current commonly used in residential and commercial settings for powering various devices and appliances.
To reset a circuit breaker on a shop vac, first unplug the machine. Locate the circuit breaker on the power cord or the vacuum itself and press the reset button. If the breaker doesn't reset, check for any obstructions or issues with the vacuum that may be causing the problem.
Should be about 120 VAC.

They are in tandem because they power a 220 VAC circuit, rather then a 110 VAC circuit.

The maximum voltage rating for a 120/240 VAC breaker is 240 volts.
you should have three wires into the panel. two of them go to the double breakers or pull switch and the last is the ground lead. You can pick up 110 vac from one side of either breaker and that ground connection. DO NOT connect to the both breaker wires as that will be 220 vac

If the Shop Vac is tripping the breaker to a house turn other electronics off while it is in use. The power in the house should be checked out by a electrician.
It is always good to check with a Volt Meter. With a 220 to 240 VAC oven you would connect the grounds which should be Green and Bare wire. The other two can be connected either way with the same results. Turn off breaker to oven before doing any work. Get an electrician if you are unsure in what you are doing.
Dubai uses 220 VAC at 50 Hz (in the USA, we use 120 VAC at 60 Hz). They also use the G type plug.
