There should be two outputs on the 30 A breaker. You will need 10 AWG wire with 3-conductors and ground. Typically the wire colors will be Black, Red, White and (Green or bare). Connect black to one output of breaker and red to other output. Connect white to the white buss bar in main panel and green/bare to ground buss bar. At heater end connect the red and black to the 240 V leads, white to white and green/bare to the heater case.

How do you stop breaker from kicking off when electric heater is on?

Check to see if the electric heater is drawing too much power for the breaker. If so, try using the heater on a different circuit or using a lower wattage heater. If the breaker continues to trip, consult an electrician to ensure the problem is properly addressed.

Can you use a none dedicated outlet for a space heater for a short period of time?

Yes, a space heater can be plugged into any outlet. Depending on what else is drawing current on the circuit will govern whether the circuit will trip or not. If the heater is plugged in and the circuit does not trip it can be left plugged as long as it is needed. If the heater trips after a few seconds, then try another outlet.

What are the features of an efficient electric heater?

The main feature of an efficient electric heater is, that is used up to 30% less engery than a conventional electric heater. This reduces the cost of the heater.

On an 50A circuit should you be able to turn all of three of your electric heaters on at the same time without tripping the main breaker?

It depends on the power draw of each electric heater. Make sure to check the amp rating of each heater and ensure that the total amperage of all three heaters does not exceed the circuit's 50A capacity to prevent tripping the main breaker.

Why do we got electric shock during consumption of water in electric heater?

When you switch on the electric heater, electricity passes through the water in the bucket for warming. If any one comes in contact with the water when the switch is on, he/she is supposed to get electric shock. Nonsense! There are electric heater resistance elements in the water. No electricity is intentionally introduced to the water, if there were the water would be electrified throughout the piping network all the way back to the source including every house connected to the system. Before it ever got that far out of hand the circuit breaker would trip due to the direct short circuit eliminating the hazard. It sounds more like you have an element starting to fail and/or a grounding issue.[

Why does electric bulb become dim when electric heater in parallel circuit is switched on?

The electric heater draws some of the electrical current in the circuit, which reduces the current available for the electric bulb. This leads to a decrease in the brightness of the bulb as it is receiving less power.

How can I turn off my electric water heater?

To turn off your electric water heater, locate the circuit breaker that controls the water heater and switch it to the "off" position. This will cut off power to the water heater and stop it from heating water.

Air conditioner blows circuit breaker when heating?

If you have a heat pump and the breaker blows in heat cycle then you probably also have auxiliary electric heat which is drawing too much current because of a faulty heater element.

Can I mount a Stiebel Eltron Electric wall heater (CK20E) on a metal wall in my garage?

Yes, this is preferred to prevent fires.

Why does my space heater keep tripping the breaker?

Your space heater may be tripping the breaker because it is drawing too much power and causing an overload on the circuit. This can happen if the heater is plugged into a circuit that is already handling a heavy load or if the heater itself is faulty. It is important to make sure the heater is plugged into a dedicated circuit and not sharing power with other high-wattage devices. If the issue persists, it may be a good idea to have the heater inspected by a professional.

What is the voltage of a small electric heater if the heater is drawing 12 amperes and has a resistance of 10 ohms?

Voltage is current times resistance, 1.2 x 110 = 132 volts.
