Heat up air or water and a convection curent wil form as the heated air or water starts to move upwards. An array of several convection tubes are positioned in a series configuration to provide the equivalent of a very tall convection current generating tower, the pressure and fluid flow of the array thereby becoming capable of significant pressures such as the pressures necessary to move solar heated air into the confines of a rock storage area, the pressure increases of this array being achieved by the additive effects of connecting heated and cooled convecting columns together alternately in such a way that the output of one is connected to the input of another.

A convection current is created by the heating and cooling of a fluid, such as air or water. When a fluid is heated, it becomes less dense and rises, while cooler fluid sinks. This movement of fluid creates a circular motion known as a convection current.

well, a convection current is mainly caused by the heat from the cores. Since the heat from the cores are so hot, it moves the mantle (the semi-molten rocks), just like a water boiling. So, as the mantles move up from the heat, it comes in contact with the crust, a cooler layer. The mantle grazes under the crust until it loses heat and comes back down again. Then the cycle continues due to the heat from the cores. I'm sure there's more to do with the density of a heated mantle and all that stuff, but i don't really know the details.. i hope this answered your question enough though.

Is a convection current the same as a convection?

Yes. Convection is a type of energy and a convection current is, well, the phrase for its currents. So yeah, convection and convection current are the same.

What do you think will happen to the convection current in the mantle if the interior of earth eventually cools down?

If the interior of the Earth cools down, the convection currents in the mantle will gradually slow down and eventually stop. This will result in decreased heat transfer and mantle movement, potentially leading to a decrease in tectonic plate movement and volcanic activity over time.

What is the meaning of convection current?

A convection current is not a technological term; it is a term used in Science for talking about air current. A convection current is the cycle of hot air going up, and cold air going down.
