Milligram is a weight or mass. Milliliter is a volume.

1 milliliter of pure water weighs 1 gram or 1000 milligrams but it depends on the substance.

1 mm is about the width of a fingernail. This is totally incorrect. It is the size of a grain of sand or a speck of dust according to all the other answers. Perhaps the original answer shou have been "the thickness" but the width is far too long.

None: 1000 milligrams in 1.0 gram (mass units) and 1000 millimeter in 1.0 metre (distance units). Mass is NOT distance.
