cc = cm^3 = ml A cup is 250 ml - at least that's the volume that has replaced 1 cup.

Milk comes in 250 and 500 ml and 1, 2, and 4 litre containers in Canada, for example.

And we no longer use cc for cubic centimetre; it's not an accepted SI unit.
