"Acre" is a unit of area. It doesn't tell you anything about the shape.

1.5 acres can be many different shapes ... square, rectangle, circle. If you only know the area, you can't say anything about the shape or size.

IF by pure chance it just happens to be square, then it's about 256 feet on every side.

But it could be a circle, or any one of millions of different rectangles, and still have the same 1.5 acres of area.
