β 14y agoWe can't calculate that with the information given.
We could calculate it if we had either one of the following:
-- how deep the liquid was in the pot when it was full
or
-- the shape and dimensions of the bottom 15 inches of the pot

β 14y agoTo find out how many gallons are left in the gasoline tanker, you would need to know the dimensions of the tanker. With just the information provided (15 inches left in a pot that holds 2600 gallons), it is not possible to calculate the remaining gallons accurately.
The tank has a volume of 3,456 cubic inches. To convert this to gallons, divide by 231 since there are 231 cubic inches in a gallon. Therefore, the tank holds approximately 14.96 gallons.
To calculate the volume of the tub in cubic inches, multiply the three dimensions (60 x 32 x 20). Then convert the volume to gallons by dividing by 231 (there are 231 cubic inches in a gallon). So, the tub would need approximately (60 x 32 x 20) / 231 gallons of water to fill up.
On average, one gallon of propane contains about 0.73 gallons of gasoline equivalent. This means that you would need around 1.37 gallons of propane to equate to 1 gallon of gasoline in terms of energy content.
When it's full, it holds 330 gallons of whatever they poured into it. But we have no way of knowing what's in it today, or how much.
The volume of a cylinder is (pi) x (radius)2 x ( length) .Radius is 1/2 of the diameter.Radius of a 3-inch pipe is 1.5 inches.1 foot = 12 inches1,000 feet = 12,000 inches1 gallon = 231 cubic inchesVolume = (pi) x (1.5)2 x (12,000) = 84,823 cubic inches = 367.2 gallons (rounded)
The question is not very specific. There are many kinds of water tankers. A water tanker truck, of the largest 18 wheeler kind, can carry about 30 tons of water. Which is about 8000 gallons.
My 2009 Chevrolet Silverado holds 26 gallons of gasoline.
It depends on the tank. These are custom built so you can specify just about anything you want. But for sake of argument, we'll look at a "retail tanker" used to carry gasoline to gas stations. The whole tank holds 9,000 gallons of fuel, and it's usually divided into five compartments ranging from 1100 gallons to 2600 gallons.
3.5 cubic inches holds 0.015 gallons.
In terms of gasoline the Contour holds 15 gallons per Ford.com
Depends on the size of the barrel. An oil barrel holds 42 gallons. But a 55 gallon barrel holds 55 gallons. Gasoline is not stored in barrels in the first place, it is stored in tanks which vary in size.
The Chevy Tahoe gas tank holds 12 gallons of gasoline.
(16 gallons) x (3 acres/7 gallons) = 48/7 acres = 66/7 acres
761.9 for the length of 42 inches, or 1777.78 per width of 18 inches
I know of nothing that can hold 300 gallons. A 2007 Toyota holds 18.50 gallons of gasoline.
The gas tank on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee holds 15.8 gal..
An 18X18x47 foot tank holds 113,913.35 US gallons.
