Remember K H D | d c m (kilo, hecto, deka, (liter, meter, gram), deci, centi, milli). These are the denominations you need to list when converting metric units. Milliliters are three places to the right of liters. So you have to move the decimal place three times to the right (same as multiplying by 1000). You will get 1.2 L = 1200 mL.

∙ 10y agoYou cannot associate volume and length directly. However, I'll assume you mean millilitres (common error). There are 1000 millilitres in a litre. Therefore 1.2 litres will be 1200 millilitres.
