I can't do it directly, but if you convert to metric it's easy! One Gallon of water equals 3.785 L of water, which weights 3.785 Kg (by definition!), which converts back to 8.344 pounds. Multiply that by 4000 and you get 33376 pounds. (In case you're interested, that is 16.688 tons. Not the metric type.)
