One Gallon has four quarts, each quart has two pints, each pint has two cups. So to prove it let's try this. One cup has 8 ounces. One pint has 16 ounces. One quart has 32 ounces. One gallon has 128 ounces. Or 2 cups X 8 = 16 or one pint, 2 pints X 16 =32 or one quart, 4 quarts X 32 = 128 or one gallon. To answer your question; There are two cups in one pint. I just like people to work for it and understand the why and how of things.
