The first column lists the date and mint mark (see pictures above, if there is one) followed by the value of an average circulated nickel and the average value for an uncirculated one. These are approximate values and the actual offer that you will receive from a particular dealer will vary depending on the actual grade of the nickel and a number of other factors.

Also note the coins are actually called Buffalo Nickels or Indian Head Nickels but not "buffalo head" nickels. They show the whole buffalo, after all.

The value of a buffalo head nickel can vary depending on its condition and year of minting. Generally, common buffalo nickels in circulated condition are worth around $1 to $3 each. Rare dates or those in exceptional condition can be worth much more to collectors.
