2000 lbs standard, 909 kg metric.

Whenever shipping internationally, it may be best to question.

If not, you could easily end up with unexpected charges.

To the best of my understanding this is the way it goes...

Short ton = 2,000 pounds (MOST COMMON IN USA)

Metric ton = 2,205 pounds

Long ton = 2,240 pounds

One US ton is 2000 pounds, a metric tonne is 2200 pounds or 1000 kg.
