4000 lbs
There are 2000 pounds in one ton. Therefore, 2 tons is equal to 2 x 2000 = 4000 pounds.

4,000 pounds.

4,409 pounds in 2 metric tons.
A tonne is 1000 kg as it is a "metric ton"

so it is 4409.3 pounds
4,000 pounds

Imperial tonnage.

1 Cwt = 112 Lbs.

20Cwt = 1 ton

1 ton is 2240 lbs.

2 tons are 4480 Lbs

I believe this is true with a "long ton".

Short ton = 2,000 pounds (MOST COMMON IN USA)

Metric ton = 2,205 pounds

Long ton = 2,240 pounds

A ton is 200 lbs so 2 tons is 4000 lbs. Some people call these short tons.
There are several different values associated with a "ton" depending on which "ton" you're talking about. A short ton, or US ton, is equal to 2000 pounds. A metric ton is equal to approximately 2205 pounds. A long ton, or UK ton, is equal to 2240 pounds. So, your rather large pig could weigh anywhere between 4000 pounds and 4480 pounds.

However, most pigs won't weigh anywhere near that amount. Mature pigs average between 700 to 900 pounds. The biggest bull, the Chianina, weighs around 3300 pounds, and a pig is obviously much smaller than that.
