It depends on the material.

with water, one litre weighs 1 kilogram.

1 microgram is a billionth of a kilogram, one millilitre is one thousandth of a litre, so 1 millilitre of water weighs one million micrograms.

You cannot directly convert 1 microgram to milliliters because they are units that measure different things. Micrograms measure mass or weight, while milliliters measure volume. The conversion would depend on the density of the substance you are working with.

It depends on what subtsance you want to convert. Every subject has it's down density. Example: Water is almost 1000 gram/1000 ml (=1 kg/l).

1 milligram is 10-3 gram = 0,001 gram.

1 milliliter is 1cm3 (1 drop is ~ 0,4 cm3).

In the example used above, water would be converted as follows:

1 milliliter (1 cm3) H2O would weight 1 gram, which would equal 1000 milligrams.

Do you mean 1 fluid ounce (volume) or 1 international avoirdupois ounce (mass, the normal ounce of weight used in the US)?

1 oz (mass) is 28350 mg (mg is mass).

The mass of 1 fl oz (volume) of liquid depends on the density of the liquid.

You need to know the density of the liquid. It'd be easiest if you know it in mg/fl oz, because then you just multiply 1 fl oz * x mg/fl oz=x mg. If it's not in mg/fl oz, do the same multiplication then multiply units to convert it to how you need it to be. e.g. water is about 1 g/cm^3. 1 fl oz of water weighs:

1 fl oz * (1 g/cm^3)=

1 fl oz * g/cm^3=

1 fl oz * g/cm^3 * (29.57 cm^3 / 1 fl oz)=

29.57 g

You can't without knowing what the sudbstance is. mg is a weight while ml is a volume

liquid (calpol pediatric drops)

Only 1 milliliter of pure water weighs 1 gram or 1000 milligrams. Forget syrup or oil. That weighs more.

You cannot because mg are a unit of mass or weight and ml are a unit of volume. Unlike units cannot be converted into each other.

You can't. A milligram (mg) is a measure of mass whereas a milliliter (ml) is a measure of volume. Two different things. It would be like asking, "How do you convert 50 mph to volts?"
