∙ 15y ago68 Degree F is just a bit warm for outlet air temp. from a well operating Direct expansion (DX) system. However, this indicates the system is at least working. If the unit can not keep the temperature difference of the occupant space to greater than 5 degree on days where outside temperatures are over 82 degree, then the unit although working properly is undersized for the building. The heat load of the building is greater than the unit can overcome. Typical cooling days are over 82 degree so I would resize and possibly replace the unit with a larger unit, or take steps to reduce the heat load of the building.

∙ 15y agoNo, the air conditioner outlet temperature being 68 degrees is normal. If the inside temperature is equal to or less than 5 degrees lower than the outside temperature, it may indicate that the unit is not operating efficiently, but it does not automatically mean it needs to be replaced. It could be a sign of other issues that can be diagnosed and fixed by a professional technician.
The temperature setting on an air conditioner refers to the desired indoor temperature, not the outdoor temperature. The AC is designed to maintain the set temperature indoors regardless of the temperature outside. It works by sensing the indoor temperature and adjusting its operation to reach and maintain the set temperature.
36 degrees (Fahrenheit or Celsius) 16 + 20 = 36
It is not recommended to paint when the temperature is 52 degrees Fahrenheit as it may affect the drying process of the paint and the overall finish. Optimal temperature for painting is typically above 50 degrees Fahrenheit and below 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
It is difficult to provide an exact time estimate without more information about insulation, heating system, etc. However, generally, it could take several hours for the temperature to drop from 70 to 64 degrees in a 2000 sqft house when the outside temperature is 30 degrees.
The wind chill factor makes the outside temperature feel like -9.7°F.
yes you can
no it is not because you are just cooling yourself off. DDDDDDDDDDDDDUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Still 54 degrees if the 18 degree drop is inside!
35 degrees Celsius.
No. An air conditioner operates with a condenser which circulates the air past refrigerant-filled coils, which thereby allows it blow out cold air. They have no ability to heat.
The new temperature outside would be 4 degrees. -2 + 6 = 4.
The conversion to degrees Celsius... 18.3
79F = 26.1C
65 degrees Fahrenheit = 18.3 degrees Celsius.
60 degrees Fahrenheit = 15.5 degrees Celsius.
A window air conditioner can typically cool a room to about 15-20 degrees cooler than the current outdoor temperature. If it is 90 degrees outside, the air conditioner may be able to cool the room to 70-75 degrees.
65 degrees Fahrenheit = 18.3 degrees Celsius.
