∙ 15y agoAssuming you wanted to preserve the ratio of product-to-water, we solve this by setting up and solving the equation:
1/50000 = x/250
From this, just multiply both sides by 250, yielding x = 250/50000 = 1/200. So you would add 1/200 = 0.005 gallons of product to 250 gallons of water.

∙ 15y agoIf you add 1 gallon of product to 50,000 gallons of water, the ratio of product to water is 1: 50,000. To find out how much product to add to 250 gallons of water, you would need to apply the same ratio, which would be 1/50,000 x 250 = 0.005 gallons of product.
60 tons of water is equal to approximately 7,525 gallons.
can't get 6 gallons of water in a 4 gallon bucket
There are approximately 0.264 gallons in 1 kilogram.
U.S. gallons are different from imperial gallons. 1 Imperial gallon is equal to 4.54609188 litres and 1 US gallon is equal to 3.78541178 litres. Liters on the other hand are the same everywhere. One liter equals 0.26 U.S. gallon or 0.219 Imperial gallon.
There are a couple of problems with your question. First, "condensation" is simply water that has been changed from a vapor to a liquid, so unless you have something else in mind, your question seems to be, "How many gallons of water are there in a pound of water?" The second problem is that because there are about 8.34 pounds to a gallon of water, there are no "gallons" in a pound of water, only fractions of gallons. So, a better way to phrase your question might be, "What fraction of a gallon would a pound of water constitute?" To get the answer to that, you would simply divide one gallon by the number of pounds in a gallon (8.34) to determine that a pound of water is .12 of a gallon. Hope that helps. If that isn't what you were after, ask another question.
If you have a gallon, you only can have one gallon.
the answer is a mega gallon of water
A 20 Gallon tank can hold up to 20 gallons of water.
60 tons of water is equal to approximately 7,525 gallons.
Easy. Fill the 7gal pail to the full mark (7 Gallons) with water. Then pour, from the 7 gallon pail, water into each of the 3 gallon pail up to the full mark. The remaining water left in the 7 gallon is 1 gallon. Pour this gallon into the aquarium. Fill the 7 gallon pail with water, again to the full mark, and then add to the aquarium. 1 Gallon + 7 Gallons = 8 Gallons.

1/8.33 gallons or ~0.12 gallon(US) or 1/10 gallon or 0.1 gallon (BI)
To find the number of gallons in the barrel, divide the total weight of the water in the barrel by the weight of one gallon of water: 381.8 pounds / 8.3 pounds/gallon = 46 gallons.
A gallon IS a volume so the volume of 550 gallons is 550 gallons.
7.48 gallons
you fill the 7 gallon jug and then place the water into the 5 gallon jug. You will end up with 2 gallons because you subtracted 5 gallons, place that water somewhere else and repeat the process.
There are approximately 0.264 gallons in 1 kilogram.
