∙ 15y agoIf there were exactly 52 weeks in year then a year would be 364 days, so how many weekdays varies by around 1 day (leap year possibly could make it 2* depending on what day it begins on. Say the year only had 365 days and the 365 was on a weekend there would be 260 week days in a year, but i think that could potentialy be 262 on a leap year.

∙ 15y agoIn a year with 365.25 days, each day would have 24 hours just like in a regular year with 365 days. The extra 0.25 days in the year are taken into account through the addition of a leap day every four years.

∙ 15y agoIt happens that the Terrestrial year is 365.24 days, which is fairly close to your number. Our day is 24 hours long, for which there is no particular reason, other than that somebody decided to break the day into 12 parts (and therefore, break the nights into 12 parts). There was never any particular thought that these should be EQUAL parts, until Galileo invented the pendulum clock.

∙ 8y agoThere are seven days in one week.
To find the answer divide 365 by 7.
The answer is 52 weeks and one day in 365 days.

February has 28 days because it is the only month that is closest to the average length of a lunar month (~29.5 days) and the length of a solar year (~365.25 days). In order to keep the calendar year in alignment with the solar year, February was assigned 28 days.
Assuming each college hour is equivalent to one hour of instruction, 71 college hours would be 71 hours in total.
Jupiter revolves or orbits around the sun once every 11.86 Earth years, or once every 4,330.6 Earth days. Jupiter travels at an average speed of 29,236 miles per hour or 47,051 kilometers per hour in its orbit around the sun.
Assuming both Earth and Planet 2 established the same calender system, dividing up each day into 24 hour periods, and each started their respective calender on the same day, the new year for both planets would coincide every 100 years, disregarding leap-years or alterations to time keeping.
The distance from Earth to Pluto is not constant, but averages to 3.57 billion miles. The Space Shuttle orbits at 17,500 miles per hour. Therefore 205,000 hours or 8,500 days or 23 years 105 days
Since each hour has 60 minutes and each day has 24 hours and each year has 365.25 days, 4 years is equivalent to 2,103,840 minutes.
120 times 365.25 (days in an average year, approx) times 24 hours in each day times 60 minutes in each hour.

There are 10,950 days in 30 years. There are 262,800 hours in 30 years. There are 115,768,000 minutes in 30 years.

In one year there are 365 days. One day has 24 hours, each hour has 60 minutes and each minute has 60 seconds. This gives the number of seconds in an hour as 60*60 = 3600 and the number of seconds in a day as 24*3600 = 86400The number of seconds in 365 days is 86400*365 = 31536000 seconds. There are 31536000 seconds in a year.So 31536000 x 2 years = 63070000 seconds in 2 years.
In 76 years, you could watch 333108 2-hour movies back to back. 57 regular years x 365 days = 20805 days 19 leap years x 366 days = 6954 days 6954 + 20805 = 27759 days 27759 days x 12 movies per day = 333108 movies
Each year is shortened by an hour which is giving back every 4 years
There are 365.25 days in a year. Therefore in nine years there are 365.25*9 = 3287.25 days. There are 24 hours in a day. Therefore in 3287.25 days there are 3287.25*24 = 78894 hours. There are 60 minutes in each hour. Therefore in 78894 hours there are 78894*60 = 4733640 minutes.
There are 60 seconds in a minute and sixty minutes in an hour, so each hour is 3600 seconds. Multiply 24 to get days, and then 365.25 to get years, accounting for leap years. This is 31,557,600 seconds per year. Divide 1,000,000,000 seconds by 31,557,600 seconds per year, and you get 31 years, 251 days, 7 hours, 46 minutes and 40 seconds. (Why didn't I figure out the months? Because the months aren't equal!)
One year is 365 days. One day is 24 hours. One hour is 60 minutes. Take the number of years and times them by 365. (= days in a year) Then add on however many leap years there were in that time period (- 1 in every 4) Multiply that answer by 24 (hours per day) Finally, multiply the result by 60 (minutes per hour) Or just multiply the number of years by 87,600 and add on 1440 for each leap year.
