The transition metals are found from Group 3 to Group 12 and with the current layout of the periodic table, from Period 4 to Period 7, not including the actinides or the lanthanides (the two rows usually set aside at the bottom of the table). Off the top of my head, four transition metals are:

Iron

Cobalt

Copper

Scandium
