There are many different types of graph. Some of the most commonly known are:
Line Graph: used to display information over time
There are also continuous graphs, which are graphs made of a continuous curving line. Then there are also discrete graphs, which are made of single points on a graph connected.
Some common types of graphs include line graphs, bar graphs, pie charts, scatter plots, and histograms. Each type is suited to different data and purposes, such as showing trends over time, comparing categories, displaying proportions, visualizing relationships between variables, or illustrating the distribution of data.
Pictograph. -this is a simple kind of graph which uses pictures. usually a picture represents a certain number which is indicated in a legend.

A bar graph would be best to compare the atomic weights of different elements, as it allows for easy visual comparison of values. Each element could be represented by a separate bar, with the height of the bar corresponding to the atomic weight of the element.
Any graph can be used for such a purpose.
Line Graph
There are many different kinds of charts. A few would be a graph, bar graph, flow charts, pie charts, pictograph, line graphs, histogram, dot plot, and scatterplot.
It measures things between different groups, for example, a sandwich is a things, but you can use a bar graph to measure different kinds of sandwiches.
