Graduated cylinders and burettes can be used to accurately measure relatively small amounts of liquids; however, you can also use a pipette to collect a pre-determined small amount of liquid. Micropipettes can collect a measured volume of fluid between 1 and 1,000 microliters. The smallest pipette made as of April 2007 can collect liquid samples in zeptoliters

(measuring spoons--e.g., tablespoon, teaspoon, etc.).

A burette (also buret).

It is used to dispense known amounts of a liquid reagent in experiments for which precision is necessary, such as a titration experiment. Burettes are extremely accurate - a 50 cm3burette has a tolerance of 0.1 cm3 (class B) or 0.06 cm3 (class A).

A graduated cylinder is an instrument that can measure volume very precisely. It is a cylindrical container marked with calibrated lines to indicate different volume measurements.
