M42 (the Orion Nebula, in the middle of Orion's sword) is estimated to be
24 light years across its greatest dimension, and 1,344 light years distant
from us.
According to those figures, the nebula subtends a visual angle of
tan-1(24/1,344) = 1.023 degree
That's a colossal angle, and a surprise to me. The angle makes it something like
double the apparent size of the full moon. I can see the nebula, but it's nowhere
near that size. I guess my naked eye has grown overly modest with age.
A new star will usually have hydrogen alpha light. This light is red but is difficult for the human eye to detect. If you look up M42, the Great Orion Nebula, most long exposure photographs will show this red light.
Some nebulae that can be seen without a telescope include the Orion Nebula (M42), the Lagoon Nebula (M8), and the Andromeda Galaxy (M31). These objects are bright enough to be visible to the naked eye under dark skies.
Orion's belt consists of three bright stars named Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. These stars are part of the larger constellation of Orion and are easily visible in the night sky.
A hob is typically made of stainless steel or ceramic glass. Stainless steel is durable and resistant to corrosion, while ceramic glass provides a sleek and modern look for hobs.

M42 is a designation for the Orion Nebula, a diffuse nebula situated in the Milky Way galaxy. It is one of the brightest nebulae and is visible to the naked eye as a fuzzy patch in the constellation of Orion. M42 is a site of active star formation, with young, hot stars illuminating the surrounding gas and dust.
yes there is. there may be billions, no person can tell tell but we have dicoverd one that is m42 I think. yes there is. there may be billions, no person can tell tell but we have dicoverd one that is m42 I think.
