I believe it is levitation you mean by levity.

The gravity is the acceleration to centre of planet while levitation is the force act against and nullify gravitation. Levitation may come by many form such as magnetic force or suspension in gas or liquid stream. Floating in water is considered a levitation by buoyancy force.

Gravity is the force that pulls objects towards each other, such as the force that keeps us grounded on Earth. Levity, on the other hand, refers to a lightness or humor in attitude or behavior. Gravity is a physical force, while levity is a more abstract concept related to mood or demeanor.
