has to be light itself.
I would think it would be the f-18's launched off aircraft carriers. 0-180 in 2.00s
--------
no it's not light. Light doesn't accelerate because its speed is fixed. It depends whether you mean human built transport systems or of particles. The question is ambiguous a little...
--------
If you are talking about human built machines which are also not classified today, it would probably be a missile, my guess is it would be an "Anti-ICBM" missile like the sprinter missile.
The sprinter reached Mach 10 in 5 seconds, that means that if it accelerated just for 1 second, you'd be at at least a velocity of 650 meters per second (2100 feet per second) and that will be doubled in 2 second, tripled in 3 seconds etc.
(Actually, in the first few seconds of acceleration would have been much higher due to the low drag at lower velocities)
But if you are talking about the fastest acceleration in anything human built (Which is not classified/secret), it would probably be the .204 Ruger round which accelerates to about 1200 meters per second (about 4200 feet per second) in just a fraction of a second.

The current record for the world's fastest car speed is held by the ThrustSSC, which reached a speed of 763 mph (1,227 km/h) in 1997. This record-breaking speed was achieved in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, USA.
James May from the BBC show Top Gear hit 259.11 mph at a test run at the Volkswagen test track in Germany. Another test driver got into the 260s after May's run.
The fastest car in the world in 1966 was the Lamborghini Miura. With a top speed of around 171 mph, it was considered one of the fastest production cars of its time.
Currently, the fastest production car in the world is the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport, which has been maxed at 267 mph. The fastest car in the world is the Bloodhound SSC, which should be first driven in a few years. It's top speed should be around 1,000mph (a dragster).
The second fastest car in the world is the SSC Tuatara. It has a top speed of 282.9 mph (455.3 km/h) and is known for its incredible acceleration and aerodynamic design.
The fastest car with a manual transmission is the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which has a top speed of around 193 mph.
If you are wanting to know the fastest road car it is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. If you want to know the fastest car in the world then it is the Thrust SSC which hold the current land speed record
267mph

its not a lamboghini the fastest car in the country is the bugatti veyron which is also the fastest car in the world with a top speed of 253mph.

The fastest production (as opposed to custom built or modified) car was the Bugatti Veyron (which is still the fastest accelerating & decelerating car in the world), but the current highest speed production car in the world is the SSC Ultimate Aero TT at 257mph.
The fastest car in the world for 2012 is Dagger gt. It consists of a speed of more than 500 kmph.
A Peel P50 is the world smallest manufactured car and its top speed is 10 mph.
no it isn't the SSC ultimate aero is the worlds fastest car, with an estimated top speed of 273 mph
The second fastest car in the world is the SSC Tuatara. It has a top speed of 282.9 mph (455.3 km/h) and is known for its incredible acceleration and aerodynamic design.
