Another way to improve your time is to get a better rubiks cube one that slides around the pieces more easier then others and to improve the slide lube it using vaseline. Just take it apart lube the pieces put it back together and use it freuquntely so the vaseline gets in all the peices. Make sure you use it after pputting the vaseline on it other wise it wil dry and will be hard to use.
