Friday the 13th ever heard of it? It's linked with lots of superstition being an unlucky number and all for really (in my mind) stupid purposes like the whole deal with there being 13 people at Christs' table (himself included with his 12 disciples) and him dying and all and then elevators and stuff...but the most interesting de mon avis is the tragedy of the Knights Templar or Order of the Templar.

Instead of recounting the whole long and terrible history I'll get straight to the point the Knights Templar were arrested, tortured for information and then burnt at the stake. But they weren't burnt until March 18 but this is probably not what you're looking for so I'll stop babbling but hopefully I was of some help.
